Quarantine Activities For Kids Under 6

Quarantine activities that keep children happy and engaged during this time can be challenging to say the least.

For kids under 6, there are many things they’re trying to understand (why can’t I go to school, why can’t I play with my friends, I miss my friends, why can’t we go the play ground) tied in with the bigger questions of health and safety.

I’m sure you’ve had repeated discussions with them about the reasons why; and sometimes they understand & sometimes they don’t.  As is the case with many adults:)!

Quarantine Activities for Adolescents

This is particularly true of adolescents with mood swings, who are craving mental, emotional & physical stimulation.

So what can we do with them?

Is it hurting or helping you?

A brilliant professional woman was on an international business trip with a group of her colleagues.  For most of the trip she was quiet and took notes while one of her colleagues boldly spoke and directed the meetings.  This quiet role was not a professionally assigned one, but one that this woman had become comfortable with for most of her life.  They met top country officials who did not seem to acknowledge her.  She felt a bit overlooked.  This had happened on a number of business trips.
